The villagers always pray for the calm of the ocean and are rich in harvest. The leading Chinese temple we should visit is Nan Tian Temple (Nan Tian Gong), a temple in the middle of a paddy field.
Nan Tian Temple (or called Nine Emperors God Temple) is located at Site A and this is the only temple at Site A. Every 1st to 9th of the Ninth month of the Lunar Calendar, the worshipers will celebrate the birthdays of the Nine Emperor Gods (Jiu Huang Ye) for ten days. The most important religious event in Sekinchan.
Nan Tian Temple is a perfect location for us to view the beauty of the paddy field; we can go up to the second floor of a tower in the temple and have a good view of the Sekinchan paddy field.
Often seen on TV, Pantai Redang is a popular tourist destination in Sekinchan. The public beach is situated near the end of the town's main canal. The beach is ideal for a walk and strolling, with various sights and spots to visit around the beach area. Visitors may find huts, swings, sign boards, playground and verndors with bubble equipments for rental - however it is not suitable for swimming, snorkeling or diving.
Pantai Remis is a beach in Jeram, Kuala Selangor.
